His research interests include condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of mechanical equipment, rotor dynamics, artificial intelligence and industrial big data processing, structural dynamic characteristics and damage detection. He is a visiting scholar at Casewesternreserveuniversity in the U.S.A. He has presided over 2 top-level projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China; he has published more than 60 SCI and EI papers in important domestic and international journals, and his papers have been selected as the top 1% of the ESI and the top top academic papers in F5000 China's top journals, and he has been selected as the top 2% of the top scientists around the world; he has published 1 monograph; he has been awarded a letter of honor from Hebei University of Science and Technology. He has published 1 monograph, 1 third prize of Hebei Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress, and 1 second prize of Ministry of Information Industry Scientific and Technological Progress.
