Dr. Renjing Cao is the Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist of Ming Yang Smart Energy Group Ltd. Dr. Cao completed his training courses in aerospace engineering and received his Ph.D. degree from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. After that, he has been doing research in internationally well-known academic institutions and working with global leading industries, especially in the areas of renewable energy and power engineering. He has secured more than 30 high level research projects, authored or co-authored more than 60 publications in international peered journals including Renewable Energy, Ocean Engineering, ASME J. Offshore Mechanics and Arctic Engineering. He has been serving as the Standing Director, IEEE Power & Energy Society Satellite Technical Council, China, and Associate Editor of IET Renewable Power Generation.
